We now offer RF (Radio Frequency) tracking for conference sessions or seminars. Badges are printed with a barcode and the barcode is scanned to encode a HF chip that is placed inside the badge holder. The tracking process involves placing small RF scanning units at the entrance to each room where sessions are taking place. The attendee's scan their own badge by placing it within range of the RF reader upon entering, and again when exiting the session. A green light will indicate a successful scan.

Alternatively. a room monitor can scan the attendee badge with a Code39 or PDF barcode or with handheld RF reader. This requires staff for every seminar room, whereas by using RF encoded badges and self scanning, one person can monitor several rooms and provide assistance as required. The HF frequency chips are reliable and easy to read from a distance requiring no contact with the individual delegate.

Following the session, or at the end of the day, a download of the data collected by the RF readers will show a list of scans made with a timestamp indicating the time of entry and the time of exit.
